We offer bed bug treatment services for both domestic and commercial premises including hotels, bed sits and hostels.
All our treatment services start with a free survey of the premises/rooms that are affected; we then prepare the survey report onsite and discuss the survey finding with the client in detail. Once the client is in agreement with the required action to exterminate the bed bugs we will undertake the treatment.
As bed bugs are very small and can be present in many different locations including clothes and beddings, we recommend that some specific preparations are made to the property prior to the treatment is undertaken, to ensure that the treatment is most effective. The preparations measures include laundry and vacuming - upon booking the appointment we will send the client a leaflet that provides full detail on this.
To help clients that are busy in the weekday, we offer weekend and evening appointments at no extra charge.
All our treatment services are designed to exterminate bed bugs permanently.
For extra peace of mind all our bed bug treatment services are backed by a comprehensive 3 months guarantee. This means, should the bed bugs reappear within this timeframe we will undertake re-treatment free of charge.
We can offer most price quotations over the telephone or by email however should there be a requirement we would be happy to visit the premises and provide a free bed bug infestation survey and quotation.
To get a quotation or book appointments please call or email us.
Treatment schedule:
All properties are unique therefore will require a tailored treatment schedule, however we typically recommend that 3 treatments should be carried out to a bed bug infested property to make the treatment most effective. This is based on both our professional experience and a survey of pest control professionals conducted by a pest control professor at the University of Massachusetts, which found that 68% of all bedbug infestations require three or more treatments, 26% require two treatments, and 6% require just one.
Bed bug’s eggs can take between 4 and 28 days to hatch, therefore, the first treatment is designed to kill all the live bed bugs and the second and third is conducted to kill any bed bugs that may have been hidden in the first treatment or any eggs that may have developed into nymphs.
As part of our Integrated Bed Bug Treatment Schedule, we will use "Contact kill" insecticide spray that is applied directly on bed bugs. The spray also acts as a residual substance that lasts effectively up to two weeks after spraying to kill bed bugs that come to contact with it. The insecticides are microencapsulated, making it safe to pets and humans after it dries.
